Young Reporters for Environment (YRE) Ghana empowers young people to participate in the public debate on Environmental issues and the SDGs through engagement and education in schools and community groups, writing articles, taking pictures, making videos and more. YRE Ghana has its own youth board that sets its agenda and priorities.

YRE NATIONAL COMPETITION 2026
The YRE National Competition 2026 invites young people aged 11–25 years to explore the theme “Food Security & Climate Change.” This is your chance to investigate how climate change affects food security in your community and share your story through Photography, Article Writing, Podcasting, or Videography. Showcase your creativity, raise awareness, and be part of the movement for a sustainable future.
